On December 16, 2017, Agatsu O/G at PhysXtreme Athletic Performance will host the Agatsu Ottawa/Gatineau Regional Kettlebell Sport & Mace Competition.
Rules for Kettlebell Sport and Mace will be in accordance with the Canadian Kettlebell Sport Federation

COMPETITION EVENTS
Competitors may enter in two official events and one fun event per registration. Participation in additional events will require an additional registration.
Official Kettlebell Sport Events (10 min)
*ranks will only be awarded for
1) Jerk (double bell for men and women)
2) Long Cycle (double bell for men and women)
3) Snatch (single bell)
4) Biathlon - Jerk double bells, Snatch single bell. *(Please note that Biathlon counts as two events)
Weights
Men: 16KG, 20KG, 24KG, 28KG, 32KG Women: 12KG, 16KG, 20KG, 24KG, 28KG
***Men can compete with the 12kg and women with the 8kg, in the above events, but no rank will be awarded)
Official Mace Event (5 min)
1) 10&2s
Men: 10KG, Women: 8KG
FUN EVENTS
Kettlebell – 5 minute sprints One-Arm Long Cycle sprint
one hand switch is allowed
Mace – 5 minute 360s
From the upright position, lifter back-swings the mace through a complete rotation.
Repitition is counted when lifter’s hands reach a controlled stop in front of, or below, the lifter’s navel.

Please note that all competitors are expected to know and fully understand the rules of the competition.
A competitor who fails to perform any lift without meeting the necessary performance guidelines outlined under the rules may receive a "no-count."
It is the responsibility of every competitor and coach to properly prepare to perform according to the competition rules.
**When you register please include the event or events that you will participate in. Also include which Kettlebell weight you will lift along with the bodyweight category you will compete in.
