2014 Agatsu Canadian Kettlebell Sport Championships

On April 26th 2014 the third annual AGATSU CANADIAN KETTLEBELL SPORT CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held in Toronto Ontario! Ranking will be awarded under Agatsu rules.

Ranks will only be awarded for traditional weights and events however this year we have added some fun new events designed to challenge and inspire new and seasoned lifters.

COMPETITION CATEGORIES

Traditional Events (10 min) ranks will be awarded for these.

1) Jerk

2) Snatch

3) Long Cycle

4) Biathlon *(Please note that Biathlon counts as two events)

Men: 12KG, 16KG, 25KG, 32KG

Women: 8KG, 12KG,16KG,20KG,24KG

Same traditional events but no rank awarded for lifting with the following weights:

Men: 14KG, 18KG,20KG,22KG,28KG

Women:10KG,14KG,18KG,22KG

Sprint (5 min) events: Long Cycle & Snatch

Men: 16KG, 18KG, 20KG, 22KG, 24KG, 28KG, 32KG

Women: 8KG,10KG,12KG,14KG,16KG,18KG,20KG,22KG,24KG

Competitors may compete in up to two events.

The event will be hosted by the Toronto Kettlebell Club. 927 Dupont St, Toronto, ON m6h1z1

Please note that all competitors are expected to know and fully understand the rules of the competition. A competitor who fails to perform any lift without meeting the necessary performance guidelines outlined under the rules may receive a "no-count." It is the responsibility of every competitor and coach to properly prepare to perform according to the competition rules.

EVENT RULES AND RANKINGS HERE

**When you register please include the event or events that you will participate in. Also include which Kettlebell weight you will lift along with the bodyweight category you will compete in.**

Weight ins for the comp will be held the day of the competition.

Restrictions

It is the obligation of all competitors to review and understand the event rules before they participate. Failure to follow competition rules can result in disqualification.
